That's impressive! I have to admit that I haven't had such a pretty Syrah in a while. It is quintessential Hawke's Bay expression, with gorgeous uplifted florals, liquorice, spices, a beautiful amalgamate of dark and red berry fruits, savoury umami notes and quality woody creamy oak. It is medium-bodied, juicy and super fragrant and silky. In Master of Wine Bob Campbell's words: "A classy wine with impressive density and underlying power, although it is deliciously accessible. Excellent value at this price."
